Sharubu Tours is a registered safari company with its head office in Arusha. We built a website for its safaris, mountain treks, day trips and fly-in safaris, with an enquiry button in the header of every page.
The project
Authentic. Wild. Unforgettable. Three words in a hand-drawn typeface set the tone, and a sand-coloured header with the lion logo makes the website unmistakably Sharubu.
The client
Sharubu Tours Ltd is a locally owned safari company based in Arusha. It offers safaris, treks on Kilimanjaro, Meru and Oldoinyo Lengai, cultural tours, day trips and Zanzibar holidays.
The website
Seven menus cover destinations, tours, mountain trekking, activities, day trips, fly safaris and the company. A search box and a language switcher sit in the header.
The design
Vollkorn headlines give the pages a classic safari feel, with a playful hand-drawn face for taglines and Roboto for text. Green buttons stand out against sand and brown.
Inside the website
The same clear layout carries from the home page to the inner pages, and from the desktop down to the phone.
